Judges 2:16.

Then the Lord gave them JUDGES, AS THEIR SAVIOURS from the hands of those who were cruel to them.


A Saviour in the light of the scriptures is a prophet, messenger of God Almighty or an anointed leader from among the people who receives inspirations and instructions from God Almighty on behalf of the people for their guidance and safety from acts capable of leading them to sin against God while other saviours are those who lead the children of Israel to victory over their perceived enemies but the SAVIOUR of all Saviours is the God of Jesus Christ and not Jesus who was only a saviour in the order of the Biblical prophets..


Judges 10:14.

Go, send up your cry for help to the gods of your selection; let them be your SAVIOURS in the time of your trouble.


Nehemiah 9:27.

Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them SAVIOURS, WHO SAVED them out of the hand of their enemies.


Obadiah 1:21.

And SAVIOURS shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.
