Is Christianity The Name of a Religion or a Behaviour?

Is Christianity The Name of a Religion or a Behaviour?

Recently, I said Yeshua, whom some people call Jesus, lived and died as a Jew, and I was viciously attacked for saying this. Such is the religious programming of people, especially Black African people that they hold on to lies sold to them by agents of the colonialists, even when the truth is staring them right in the face.

Some of them even went as far as saying my calling the Person they know as Jesus by His real Name (which they called a 'fake' name) proves I am an anti-Christ.

Yeshua Himself said He is a Jew multiple times in the Bible. It is right there. Please read it. You will not die.

In John 4:22, Yeshua said:

You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

The above clearly shows that not only was Yeshua a Jew, but all the prophets of Scripture and the Bible were also Jews.

For those who do not understand the difference between a Jew and an Israelite, please understand that Judaism is a religion, while Israel is a nation. You can be a Jew without being a Hebrew Israelite or Israeli (as citizens of Israel are known today).

Also, Yeshua was addressed as 'Rabbi' by all His disciples. For example, John 3:2 says:

This man came to Yeshua at night and said to him: “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher sent from God, for no man is able to do these miracles that you are doing unless God were with him.”

John 20:16 says:

Yeshua said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

Mariam used the term Rabboni, because she was a woman. If it were a man calling Him, the man would have used Rabbi.

In Matthew 23:8, Yeshua referred to Himself as Rabbi. That verse says:

But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

There are multiple other verses, but please find out the meaning of the word Rabbi.

The Encyclopaedia Britannica defines a Rabbi thus:

"A person qualified by academic studies of the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud to act as spiritual leader and religious teacher of a Jewish community or congregation."

Yeshua was a Rabbi while He was on Earth.

Additionally, He called Himself King of the Jews. We see this in Luke 23:3, which says:

Then Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him and said, “It is as you say.”

Please note that Yeshua did not claim to be King of Israel. He said He was King of the Jews. This means that if you are a Zulu from South Africa and accept His teachings, which are of the Jewish faith, then Yeshua is your King. But if you are from Israel and you reject His brand of Judaism, then He is not your king.

None of Yeshua's disciples self identified as Christian. None. Paul said in Acts 21:39 as follows:

"I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no ordinary city. Please let me speak to the people.”

Note that this was after the townspeople of Antioch invented the name Christian in Acts 11:26.

In Galatians 2:14, Paul also called Peter a Jew.

Sadly, my people are more than enough evidence that if you want to hide anything from a Black man, put it in a book.

We do not read or study. But we want to argue and insult those who do. Not because of what we read but because of what we heard. Who will save us as a people?

In Acts 11:26, the townspeople of Antioch were not naming the religion or faith when they used the word Christian to refer to the disciples. The term 'Christian', meaning one who is like Christ or Christlike, was meant as an adverb or adjective to describe the disciples' behaviour. It was not meant as a noun or a name for their religion.

Those saying things like Christianity is not a religion, it is a way of life do not even know what they are saying. They are just parroting what one church or pastor told them.

Do you know what a way of life means? Judaism is a way of life. Islam is a way of life. Christianity is NOT. This does not mean that a way of life is necessarily the correct one. I am trying to differentiate a way of life from a religion.

A way of life governs everything you do, from when you are born to when you die.

Judaism governs how you pray, eat, go to the toilet, who, when and how you marry, what you can and cannot eat, what you can and cannot wear, how you make and spend money, how you plant and harvest seeds, etc.

There is nothing in life that you go through as an individual, from birth to school, to work, to marriage, to how you spend your time, to death, that Judaism does not guide. Ditto for Islam.

You cannot see a Jew or Muslim dying and they are kept in a mortuary for months while their children scramble about to raise millions to give them one useless befitting burial. Tufiakwa! You die and are buried within twenty four hours as the holy books say!  Except there are exigent circumstances which prevent that.

That is why even though you may not like Jews or Muslims, you can predict with accuracy what they will do at any given time under any given circumstances—including things as mundane as how they urinate.

But you, who call yourself a Christian, do you have such discipline? Of course not. You are literally capable of ANYTHING!!!

That is the difference between a religion and a way of life.

And you will see them gather here. Either insulting, abusing or attacking what I wrote. They will not dispute it with Scripture.
