IS ALLAH A DECEIVER ACCORDING TO THE QUR'AN??

 

It's always funny how you could see most Christians claiming that Allah is the best of deceiver even when they don't have any proof from the Qur'an about their claims.

The verse that they people refer to or impose their claim is Qur'an 3:54 which is correctly translated as “And they [i.e., the disbelievers] planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners”
They or Christian missionaries and others try to translate this verse as “And they [i.e., the disbelievers] deceived, but Allah deceived. And Allah is the best of deceivers.”

However, this translation by the Islamphobia or the Christians does not exist at all. One can examine all of the numerous English translations of the Qur'an and not a single one of them uses the word deceit. Besides, even if God can deceive then what is the problem with that??  In fact, anyone who knows and understand who God is cannot at all say that God can't deceive though it isn't appropriate for us to called God a deceiver. I as a Muslim, I am fully aware and understand that God can of course deceiver but I can never call God a deceiver.  Now, even if the Christians are saying that according to Qur'an 3:54, God is a deceiver then it's obvious they don't know or understand or even realize the good part of it.

Well, even if they claim that Allah is a deceiver according to the verse, they definitely don't know why Allah deceived those disbelieving Jews and see or understand the good reason why Allah deceived them. Now, let's get back to the verse (Qur'an 3:54) which they used to claim that Allah is the best of deceiver.

“And they [i.e., the disbelievers] planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners”
This verse is referring to the disbelieving Jews who plotted to kill and crucify Jesus, however, Allah was going to save Him.

The Arabic word “makir” used in the above verse could mean a scheme, a subtle or secret plan, or a plot, and it can be used negatively or positively.
In Negative Use; when the Jews tried to kill Jesus, that was evil, but In Positive Use, when Allah thwarted their evil plan and saved Jesus, that was good.
Therefore, Allah plotted against those who were plotting evil in the first place. So how could one claim that Allah is a deceiver for saving Jesus Christ  and stopping the plot of the disbelievers???
Even if the Jews were deceived, that doesn’t mean that Allah is a deceiver. Rather, this just means that Allah plotted against those who try to plot evil themselves and made their plan in vain.

But since this verse is often brought up by the Christians, it should be also note that in the Bible, there are numerous clear verses that talk about God deceiving people, such as in Jeremiah 4:10, 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, etc. 

So should we now conclude that the God of the Bible is a deceiver according to the clear above verses of the Bible that says God deceives?? Of course, they only thing Christians will come out after telling them that the God of the Bible is a deceiver according to those verses is to say that Muslims don't read the verses in its context but the question is, do they themselves do that when they read Qur'an 3:54??
Of course, they don't but could either misinterprete the verse with their misunderstanding or claim something that is not even in the Qur'an or what the Qur'an is saying. It's funny how they behave like an ostentatious and ignorant being.

Therefore, as we can see and understand how the Arabic word "Makir" is been used both POSITIVELY and NEGATIVELY then it should be understood that deceit does not mean “Makir” neither does it mean deceit in this verse, and thus the fabricated translation by the Islamphobia doesn’t even exist at all.

It's only those of reasoning and understanding will understand the used of MAKIR used in the Qur'an and would also understand that MAKIR doesn't mean Deceit as the Islamphobia are claiming and the Christians are claiming.  Thank you.
